AUSTRALIAN WOOL EXTENSIVE OPERATIONS (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, Nov. 5. Representatives of the Textiles Import Company of Moscow continue to’ buy wool largely in Sydney, and other capital cities for Russia. Since the opening of the wool sea-, son in August they have purchased 27,000 bales, valued at £BlO,OOO. They had previously purchased £500,000 worth. The company’s buying staff in the Commonwealth numbers 22, of whom only six are Russians. In addition to buying the company is largely interested in scouring greasy wool. It intends to extend its operations to New Zealand, which it proposes to do at the start through some English buyers, with a resident representative to look after the business ana shipping of wool to Europe.
