The increase per capita in the income of persons employed for gain had risen from 1637 dollars in 1921 to 2210 dollars in 1926. The Bureau states that this great*increasc is not the result of an increase in the price level for the actual price of consumed gonns in 1926 was slightly less than in 1921.
