The airmen Hinkler and Mclntosh will start on Tuesday or Wednesday, when there, will be -a full moon for the two nights they will be in the air. They will follow Carr’s route across Europe to Constant! nople, Bagdad, Kara chi, and continue until their 740 gallons of petrol are exhausted. It will be interesting to see if this privately financed scheme is successful in winning the most important international air record for Britain.
