The final of the men r s senior championship was played between Aiken and Muir over 36 holes, the former ■winning by 5 and 3. Aiken won last vear, while Muir held championship honours in 1910, 1912, 1919, 1922, 1923, and 1924. B. L. Wybourne has alno won on six occasions.
The ladies’ senior championship was played between Miss Gibson and Mrs S. Aiken, over 27 holes. The former won after her opponent had taken her to the 30th. hole. This is Miss Gibson’s fifth win in this event. The season was formally closed on Saturday last. There was a large attendance of members and visitors from the PaXea Club. Mixed foursimes were played, the winners being Miss Adlam and Mr Gilbert.
