CANTEEN FUND
TO ASSIST UNEMPLOYED AUCKLAND RETURNED SOLDIERS. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 15. At a meeting of returned soldiers today it was decided unanimously that the Auckland proportion of interest on the Canteen Fund, £lOOO, be retained to assist married men with families in cases of unemployment, “Poppy Day” Funds being practically exhausted.
