HUGE BREWERY DEAL ENGLISH COMPANIES TO MERGE (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Ang. 12. A huge deal in breweries is officially announced. The Bass combine has provisionally agreed to purchase Thomas Salt, Ltd., and subsidiary companies. The price is stated to be £12,000,000.
