THE WOMET HUT
Dear Wendyites— I have just finished deeding with another large mad. In one or two cases the letters are just a wee bit long. Don’t write too much, otherwise I will not be able to find room for all the letters. Now, my dears, I want all of you to write your proper name as well as pen-name on each letter, and also your age. If you just write your own name and age on top left-hand comer of the first sheet it would help me such a lot. As the school holidays are so near I have decided to bold over further competitions until you are settled down after your vacation. Perhaps we could then hold an Essay Competition on “How I Spent My Holidays.” What do you say? You see the Honours Board has been commenced this week. Try hard to improve your work and gain a place on the board. I still have heaps of riddles, so please do not send any more next week. That’s all now. so I send you my very best love. WENDY.
