FEILDING SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Feilding on Friday we had a good entry of both sheep and cattle. Sheep were in keen demand and fats sold at slightly better prices than at previous sales. Our cattle entry comprised mostly dairy stock, which sold at late rate-5. Dalgety and Co., Ltd. (Palmerston North) report having a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle at the Feilding sale on Friday, all of which met with keen competition. Dalgety and Co. report:—There was a small yarding of sheep and cattle at the Hunterville sale on Tuesday last. TAIHAPE SALE. Dalgety and Co., report:—There was a small yarding of sheep and cattle at the Taihape sale on Wednesday, all of which met with a ready sale. Quota-tions:—4-tooth to f.f.m. ewes in lamb b.f. rams, 30s Id; store cows £2; vealers £3; 18-months steers £3 ss; 1-year heifers 22s 6d; light fat heifers £4 13s; light fat bullocks £8 9s; 4-year bullocks £7 3s. SALE AT MANGAWEKA. Dalgety and Co. report:—There was a small yarding of sheep and cattle at the Mangaweka sale on Thursday. Quotations:—Cull lambs 10s 3d; forward ewes 14s; aged ewes in lamb Romney rams, 14s 9d; aged ewes in lamb S.D. rams, 15s 7d; two and four-tooth wethers 275; dairy cows £3 7s 6d, £3 12s 6d, £4 to £7; steers £6 3s 6d; fat cows £5 ss.
