BURGLARS TAKE A RISK POLICE CHIEF’S HOUSE ENTERED (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Aug. 7. Despite being equipped with every known form of burglar-proof device, the house of Chief Constable Wensley, one of the chiefs of Scotland Yard, was burgled while the family were sleeping. “The place where the burglar entered was the only one not fitted with some sort of an alarm, ’ ’ said Chief Constable Wensley, who is appealing to the burglars to be sportsmen and return his medals.
