SHOOTING
ON THE MINIATURE RANGES MANAWATU ASSOCIATION. POSTAL CUP SHOOTS. The first shoots of the postal cup competitions have been completed with the exception of the High School Club who have been granted an extension of’ time owing to holidays, the shooting of several of the clubs being well below the usual standard. In the A. teams the R S.A. Club put on the good score of 544, an average of 68. Awahuri Club leads the B. teams with 404, closely followed by the Bulls Club (402). The Bunnythorpe B teams were unfortunate in one of their members getting two misses before getting his sights properly adjusted. As these matches are being fired on the aggregate system there will probably be big changes when the final shoots are fired.
