WANGANUI RIVER
THE MAORIS’ RIGHTS DEPUTATION TO WAIT ON PRIMB MINISTER. A deputation comprising representatives of the Young Afaori Party and of the tribes interested in the Wanganui River will go to Wellington on June 16 to interview tho Prime Minister (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) with regard to compensation for the loss of rights of the river, stated Afr Rangi Marumaru last evening. This was decided on at a conference yesterday.
