CLIENTS Or WHITTA NINETEEN CONVICTIONS. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May .19. A further nineteen betting (lien’s (>f A. C. Whitta. bookmaker, appeared at the Court to-day and were fined £l5 to £3 for illegal betting. In most cases Ihe convictions followed the finding in Whitta’s office of letters or telegrams about the Duncd.n races.
