Briand and Sir Austen Chamberlain had a long friendly conversation, during which they examined various international problems, solidarity of the Entente Cordiale and agreement. They again recognised the solidarity of the Entente Coriale and thv necessity of strengthening it as the surest foundation on which to build European peace.
