THEATRES TO COMBINE NEW YORK. April 30. All the papers have been signed for the dosing of the largest merger in the motion picture industry this year. It includes five Pa the proriueers and the Keith. Orpheum. and Metropolitan circuits. the combined interests total ling £20,000.000. John Murdock, of Keith’s, will become president and Cecil de Mille producer and director. Keith and Orpheum have purchased 20 theatres in addition to their existing circuits.
