FLOUNDER FISHING
Sir, —I have noticed twice now refer fence to flounders being caught on the line. This used to bp an old favourite sport of mine, but I don’t know whore to go now. Using worms for bait with, as your informant says, a very light weight between each hook, we used to cast out and then, very gently, an inch at a time, reel in. I can assure those who have never tried it that catching flounders on a rod is, most excellent sport and I would like the “local fisherman” to give some particulars as tn where we can get it. I have tried several places but with no success whatsoever. My father, as a boy, used this method in Newfoundland and it was on his recommendation that I tried it first. AVOODLEY A. PROWSE. May 13.
