FEILDZNG SAUE. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on the Fcilding sale of Friday;—A fair yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward land /sold at late rates, ewe lambs again being eagerly sought after. Ewes in lamb also sold well. We quote:— Sheep.—Fat wethers, 19/6, 20/-, 21/ to 2,3/; fat B/F, 20/- to 21/3; ewes in lamb, to S/D 18/7, ewes in lamb to Romney 14/5 to 21/3; woolley ewe lambs, 23/3, ewe I'ambs, 14/2 to 16/7; wether lambs, 11/9, 12/6, 15/1; B/F lambs, 10/1 to 13/7; B/F rams, £2 2/-. Cattle.—Fat heifers, £4/4/- to £4/15/, fat cows, £3/5/-, £3/10/- to £4 16/, forward cows, £2 15/, £2 13/6 to £2 14/; heifers R.W.B. £3, to £3/5/; store cows, £l/13/, £l/15/- to £2; yearling steers, 27/6; cows and calves, to £3/6/-; springing heifers, to £9/5/-; dairy cows springing, £9/15/-; cows m milk, £6, £6/10/- to £7. SALE AT BAETIHI At Messrs Freeman Jackson’s fortnightly stock sale on Friday, stock realised the following prices:—Extra good lambs 15s lOd. medium 13s; fat wethers 225, forward wethers 18s, twotooth do. £l, small do. 17s; cull lambs 4s 9d to 7s 3d; aged ewes r.w.r. 16s; cull rams 8s; fat cows £4 ss; bulls £5 10s; forward cows £2 17s to £3 Is; aged cows r.w.r. £2 17s 6d.
