HEAVY DAMAGE

FIRE AT REFINING WORKS SUGAR AND SYRUP STOCKS DESTROYED. (A. and N.Z.) BRISBANE, April 29. A fire at the Millaquin sugar refinery works, near Bundagerb, caused damage to the extent of £200,000. Much valuable machinery and also nearly 3000 tons of refined sugar and 100 tons of syrup were destroyed.
