FARMERS’ EXCURSION TRAIN. LECTUBETTES EN ROUTE Farmsrs traveling to the Waikato Winter this year are to be well catered for by the Railway . Department, for not only will a special train from Hawera to Hamilton be provided, with excursion fares for the passengers, but as the train races along officers of the Agriculture Department will deliver lecturettes to those aboard. For use on the journey, a booklet is being prepared in which will be a fund of useful information concerning the country through which the train will pass in daylight. The publication is in the hands of a capable officer of the Agriculture Department and at present is in the process of compilation. The train will run on May 31, but no special will be provided to make the return journey, it being decided that for the convenience of the southern visitors they should be permitted to return by any of the ordinary expresses at excursion rates.
