DAIRY BOARD MEETS STATEMENT BY CHAIRMAN. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 28. Mr W. Grounds presided over the meeting of the Dairy Control Board yesterday. He informed the Press that the Board had under consideration the whole marketing position, and it had made certain amendments to its decision relative to the quantities of produce to be disposed of weekly. It also had under consideration some representations regarding South American markets for New Zealand dairy produce, and had resolved to investigate them. Application in regard to direct supplies from a well-known American cheese blending concern were received. The. firm required supplies of cheese, if the qualities were suitable for its specialised article.
