CABINET RESIGNS SEQUEL TO PRIVY COUNCIL’S ACTION. Received April 18, 1.30 a.m. (A. and N.Z.) TOKIO, April 17. The Privy Council declined approval of the Government’s proposal for an Imperial ordinance authorising the Bank of Japan’s unconditional support for the Bank of Formosa to the extent of £200,000,000. Cabinet thereupon resigned.
