METHODIST MINISTER REV. SAMUEL LA WHY TO RETIRE [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, March 10. The Rev. Samuel Lawry, of Christchurch, connexional secretary to the Methodist Conference, retires this year, after 50 years’ ministry. Tributes were paid to his work at the conference to-day. The Rev. M. A. R. Pratt, succeeds Mr Lawry.
