WORLD MOTOR TOUR , z TRAVELERS AT CONSTANTINOPLE ' LONDON, March 8. , Ellis and Birtles who are on a motor ' tour‘round the world, arrived at CVnstantinople on Sunday and are busy refitting their car for the passage 10 ( Asia where they are hopeful of better weather. The most trying incident in crossing Europe was the pessimistic, prophesies at Belgrade that they would nev-r negotiate, the famous snow lined Dm- , goman Pass. Indeed the odds wore a hundred to one against them because only three ears have managed it since : the war, and then only in summer time. The car had to bo hauled by bullocks, > but the Australians with an armed pilot • confounded the pessimists. The feat was acclaimed highly , Sofia whore they wore entertained *v the British Minister. Sir W. A. Erskine, the Spanish Consul. Ellis and his companions are in the i best of health.
