Judgment was given by Mr Bundle, S.M., this morning, against the Oamaiu Borough Council, on a claim by James B. Clarke for £3O 18s damages for a collision by a motor car with a tree «n Thames Street on the night of February 18, 1926. The tree was near the corner where a line of centre trees ends and the side trees begin. The light on the corner was out on that night.
