ETHER EXPLODES

NURSE BURNED TO DEATH SEVEN OTHERS Hs/jURED BERLIN, March 7. While nurses were filling bottles of ether in the kitchen of a hospital, a spark from an electric iron exploded the ether. Eight nurses were instantly enveloped in flames. One nurse, who wa’s holding a bottle, was burnt to deatja. Two, with their clothing ablaze, rushed into the street and rolled in the snow. Seven were seriously burned.
