OVERSEAS MARKETS. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from London:— Butter. —New Zealand finest 164?, first 1625; unsalted 172 s to 1745; market still quiet for all butters. Australian finest 15Gs to 160 s; unsalted, 160 s to 1665. Argentine unsalted, fincsct 152 s to 1565. Dutch, unsalted 184 s to 186 s. Danish, 186 s. Retail price New Zealand unchanged; Danish, Is iOd. Continental demand shows slight improvement, but still slow.
Cheese. —New Zelaland white and colooured, finest 88s; first, 87s; demand still slow. Canadian finest white and coloured, 96s to 98s; demand slow. English finest, farmers’, 116 s to 120 s; short supply. Retail prices unchanged.
The Board has also received the following advice from its agents in Vancouver and Montreal:—Butter: Vancouver 39j cents (Is 7||d); buyers still clautious and await developments. Manitoba and Saskatchewan, now producing a surplus which is being shipped mostly to Eastern Canada. Montreal, 41J cents (Is 8 5-8 d). New York, cents (2s W).
