PENSIONS ESTIMATES TAXATION AND INDUSTRY LONDON, March 7. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Winston Churchill) will meet a deputation representing the Federation of British industries on Wednesday, when their views regarding the taxation to be provided by the Budget, which will be opened on April 11, will bo laid before him. The deputation will urge that, no further increases of taxation be imposed while industry is recovering from the adverses caused by the .1926 strike. The Estimates for war pensions for the coming year have been presented, showing reductions under various headings amounting to £2,384,000. It is estimated that the cost of war pensions for next vear will amount to £6,100,000
