The Supreme Court was asked by creditors in a business to assess the remuneration of the liquidator, but his solicitor (Mr Gould) said that ho was in a difficult position as his client had not been seen since Wednesday. He had not been home nor at his office. His Honour: “Has he got the £3501” Mr Towle (for the creditors): “Yes; he has got the money.” Air Gould said that a neighbour of the missing man stated that he had been suffering from an illness contracted in Egypt. Mr Towle said that tho liquidator had made a claim for £350 for remunertion. The creditors contended that the amuont was far in excess of that deserved. A dividend of 12s 6d in the £1 had been paid, and the liquidator retained £350. He had merely acted as book-keeper, and had signed cheques.
