MELBOURNE YEARLING SALES. SPEARFELT LAME. Received March 4, 11 p.m. MELBOURNE, March 4. At the yearling sales a Woorak— Golden Beauty colt was purchased by Mr L. McCann for £l7OO, a Woorak — Maid of the Mist colt by R. Bell for £l2OO, a colt by Rizzi o—Adamant by Green for £lOOO, and a colt by Treclare —Miss Barbara by T. M. Burke for £llOO. Spearfelt is lame after yesterday’s race. O’Neill states that the horse is not likely to be a runner in the King’s Plate. Attraction and Cimou go to Sydney on Saturday, and Valicare returns on Staurday. Pantheon is improving. Mountain Rose has resumed work at Caulfield.
