WANGANUI ASSOCIATION RESIDENTIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Additional results in the residential championships of the Wanganui Tennis Association have been announced as under:—■ Men’s Singles.—Dr. Christie beat Hounsell, B—6, 6—2. Men’s Doubles.—Hawkins and Tukern beat Orr and O’Toole, 4—6, 6—l, 6—3. Ladies’ Doubles.—Miss Calver and Mrs Richards beat Mrs Lane and Mrs Smith, 7—5, 6—o. Miss Calver and Mrs Richards are now in the final. Combined Doubles.—Jones and Mrs Jones beat Peacock and Miss Fulton, 6—o, 6—o; Lampe and Miss Myers beat Jones and Mrs Jones, 6—l, 7—5. Play will be resumed to-day at a.m. on the Wanganui East Club’s courts. The match committee wishes Io remind players that, an early attendance is essential, owing to the large number of games to be played.
