WEEKLY REPOET. B. T. Bennett, of the Egmont Auction Mart, reports on market prices as follows: — Turkeys. —Gobblers, 15s to 255; hens, 7s 6d to 10s. Fowls—Hens, 2s 6d to 6s; cockerels, Is to 4s 6d; ducks, 2s 6d to 6s; geese, 7s to Bs, chicks, 4d to 9d fall at each). New potatoes, 501bs 4s; green peas, 2s per peck. Plums sold at 2d per lb; gooseberxies, 6d per lb: lemons, Is 6d per dozen; strawberries, Is 6d; hothouse tomatoes, Is 9d; lettuce, Is 6d dozen; cabbage, Is to 2s 6d per dozen; carrots, 2s dozen; rhubarb, 4s dozen. Two sucking pigs sold at 12s 6d and 15s 6d each.
Good inquiries for apples. Hams, up to 161bs, Is 4d lb; over J6lbs, Is 3d per lb. Picnic hams, Is Id per lb.
