HERO OF QUEBEC
GENERAL WOLFE’S BICENTENARY MR CHURCHILL’S ELOQUENT PANEGYRIC VICTORY ON THE HEIGHTS OF ABRAHAM LONDON, Jan. 3. The Prince of Wales was the principal guest at the Bicentenary dinner to .celebrate the birth of General Wolfe, the hero of Quebec. The anniversary was also celebrated at Westcrham, Kent, where General Jam.es Wolfe was bom in 1727. Mr Winston Churchill, speaking at the dinner, delivered an eloquent panegyric upon the measureless consequences' of General Wolfe’s victory on the Heights of Abraham.
