WANGANUI CLUB HOLIDAY CONTESTS A race Tvas hold by members of the Wanganui Pigeon Club during the holidays from Three Kings Islands. The birds were liberated by the chief officers of the s.s. Maunganui while the v> -i was passing Three Kings. Owing to rough weather in the north, no birds were clocked in race time. Several of the birds reached Wanganui during the week. This evening, the .club will hamper for two long-distance races. One race will be from Parcngarenga, North Auckland, and birds' will also be flown from Invercargill.
