The Government Meteorologist tonight issued the following forecast for twenty-four hours: — Present indications are for variable winds, with moderate southerly to westerly winds prevailing northward pf Kawhia and East Cape and southeasterly to north-eiasterly elsewhere. The weather will be warm and hazy generally, and cloudy at times, with scattered rainfall probable in the northern and East Coast districts. The barometer has a rising tendency, but is likely to fall again shortly.
