The Auckland Trotting Club’s Hummer meeting opened in line weather, and there was a very large attendance. The track was in excellent order, though slightly dead owing to recent heavy rain. The tote put through £75,319 10s, compared with £83,785 for the corresponding day last year. Results: — Introductory Handicap.—4 Marble Star (G. T.
