NATIONAL MUTUAL ASSOCIATION RESULTS OF YEAR’S WORKING Mr F. W. Nicholson, general manager for New Zealand of the NationalMutual Life Association of Australasia. Ltd., has received the following cablegram from the head office in Melbourne: — The fifty-seventh annual general meeting of members was held on December 22. The results of the year’s operations were good in every respect. The now business was the largest the Association has yet written—l6,s47 policies, assuring £7,763,910, an increase of £712.000 over the previous year’s total. The total income for the vear. including premiums and interest, was £4,080,628. an increase of £320,000. The very large amount of £1,975,205 I was added to the assurance fund, which now amounts to £24,582,455. The rate of interest on the mean funds was £5 Ils 6d per cent. The ratios of expenses are all lower. Members may expect the bonus certificates about March 1, 1927.
