FATAL BULLET

ACCIDENTALLY FIRED FEILDING YOUTH SUCCUMBS TO iNJURres (Pot Prez» AaEcc’.x’ion.) MASTERTON, Dec. 27. The death occurred at Greytown Hospital to-night of Kenneth Port, aged 19 years, son of Mr W. D. Port, of Feilding. Deceased, with three other youths, was spending his holidays shooting in Lower Valley, beyond Martinborough. While he was tramping through bush a rifle was accidentally discharged and the bullet entered Port’s knee. He was admitted to hospital, where the leg was amputated on Saturday night.
