Numerour applications have been received for sideshows and motor and agricultural impmeats stands, and there is every indication of the 1927 show being a reord one. ”THE DANCER OF PARIS” Conway Tearle and Dorothy Mackail. two of the screen’s most popular stars, take the principal roles in Robert T. Kane s “The Dancer of Paris,” the irrent attraction at the Marton Town to night. Also showing is an■er episode of the serial “Samson of the Circus.” COUNTY COUNCIL JUBILEE The next meeting of Rangitikei Conntv Council will be on Thursday, January 27. Tuesday. January 4, is he date of the Council’s Jubilee, and it is proposed to commemorate this at the meeting on January 27. at whicn the Councillors will be’ photographed. Mr C. Galpin. of Palmerston North, who is the only surviving member of :he original Council, is to be invited to attend the function, and Mr H. H. Richardson, who has boon clerk of th? Council for 35 years, will give an address on the Council's history.
