SERIOUS COLLISION
YOUNG MAN INJURED MOTORCYCLIST .LOSES LEG. A collision occurred last evening at the ‘junction of Somme Parade and Barrack Street, A ram oho. between a motor-car and a motor-cycle driven by George Payne, 29 years of age, a gardener residing at Churton Street.' Payne received severe injuries and was removed to the Wanganui Hospital. where it was found necessary to amputate his right leg.
