BOWLING
CHRISTMAS TOURNEY DRAW TOR SECTIONS. Following is the draw for sections for play in the Wanganui Bowling Centre’s Xmas tourney, which commences to-morrow. Sections A and B play on the Wanganui green and Section C will play on St. John’s green: Section A. — Thomasson, McKenzie, Green, Reid, Williams, Upton, Horsley, McFarlane, Simmonds, Benefield, Sewell, Jackson.
Section B.—Smart, Crawford, Robertson, Gray, Bidlake, Reynolds, Armstrong, Lancaster, Steel, Abbott. Section C.—Fyfe, London, Gellatly, Handley, Scrivener, Duff, Tilley, Allomes, Moffatt, Gordon. Games will commence sharp at 9 o’clock and all bowls must be on the green for inspection at 8.55 a.m. ST. JOHN’S CLUB. TO-DAY’S PROGRAMME. St. John’s Bowling Club will hold an all-day tournament to-day, commencing at 9 o’clock this morning. All players present at 9 o ’clock ,will be eligible to compete.
