PUBLIC NOTICES. KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL. UPPER MANIA ROAD LOAN OF £275. SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING LOAN. NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Mceiing of the Kiwitea County Council will be held in the Council Chambers, Kimbolton, on Wednesday, the 21st day of July, 1926, at 10 a.m. for the purpose of confirming a Resolution passed by way of Special Order at a Special Meeting of the said Council held on the 16th day of June, 1926, as follows: THAT in pursuance and in exercise (f she powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Upper Mania Road Special Rating Area of the County of Kiwitea testified by a petition signed by not less than threefourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Raring Area the capital value of whose properties as appearing m the \ala.ni',’n roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of riie properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: 1. That the Council proceed to raise a loan of Two Hundred and Seventyfive Pounds (£275) for the purpose of widening and metalling approximately 88 chains of Mania Road in the Hautapu Riding. 2. That such loan be called “The Kiwitea County Upper Mania Road Special Rating Area Loan of £275, 1926.” 3. That the currency of the said loan shall bo for a period of thirty-six and a-half (36£) yetrs commencing on the Ist day of June, 1926, and maturing on the Ist day of December, 1962. 4. That the interest on the said loin shall be at the rate of Six Pounds (£6) per centum per annum, and shall bo payable half-yearly on the Ist day of June and December in each and every year. 5. That the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be One (1) debenture of Two hundred and seventy-five pouids (£275) and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1913. 6. That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for thu repayment of the said loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of one-fifth (l/sth) of a pcnn£ in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Upper Mania Road Spe cial Rating Area in the County of Kiwitea. 7. That the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. 8. That the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund ’or the first year of the said loan during the construction of the work or works be paid out of the loan.
