INQUIRY IN BRITAIN COMMITTEE REPORT RECEIVED. LONDON, June 6. The Board of tfrade Committee appointed last year to investigate company law reports that the present system is generally satisfactory. It is not desirable to impose restrictions hampering honest commerce. Share hawking was outspokenly condemned and the Committee recommended that house to house offering should be a punishable offence, also supplying false particulars of each year’s profits. Dividends should be stated instead of everages, and a bridged prospectuses with application forms annexed should be prohibited, also articles relieving directors liability.
