BUILDING IN GERMANY PURCHASED BY JAPAN. ROOM' FOR 100 PEOPLE. LONDON, June 5. The colossal 44 hush, hush” machine, which is the world’s largest metal flying boat, under secret construction by the German Dornier Company, has just been purchased by the Japanese Government. It will be flown to Japan on completion. There is accommodation for 100 people. If used during war the machine would bo capable of flying great distances without alighting, carrying a formidable load of bombs. The twelve engines, which develop 5400 horse power, are responsible for tremendous speed. It is understood Japan will employ the mammoth on a scries of experimental flights across the Pacific from Japanese coastal bases.
