NEW PRESIDENT SWORN IN CEREMONY AT ZAMEK CASTLE. LONDON. June 6. The Warsaw correspondent of the “Times” says that in the presence of Marshal Philsudski, sitting aloof from the other Ministers, M. Mosicdki was sworn in as president. The ceremony took place in the battle-scarred castle of Zamek, instead of in the Parliamentary Chamber. Marshal Pilsudski having changed the venue at the last minute. STATE OF EMERGENCY REVOLUTIONARY AGITATION. IN EX-GERMAN STATES. WARSAW. June 6. Cabinet has authorised the Polish Minister for the Interior to proclaim a state of emergency in the ex-German districts of Posen and Pomerania owing to the revolutionary agitation by German Chauvinists. The decree forbids open-air meetings and empowers the authorities to restrict street traffic at night, also the confiscation of foreign newspapers if the contents endanger the security of the State.
