AN ESCAPED PRISONER BREAKS AWAY FROM WAIKUNE CAMP (Per Press Association.] TAUMARUNUI, May 3. Charles Henry Whitehead, a prisoner at Waikunc Prison Camp, Erua, made his escape from custody yesterday afternoon. The, escaped prisoner was at large during tho storm of last night, and as he is in only regulation clothes he would suffer considerably through the heavy thunderstorm. The rain, however, would do a great deal towards assisting him in his escape.
