DROWNED IN BATH
INFANT’S TRAGIC FATE MOTHER FINDS CHILD DEAD [Per Press Association.] WAIPUKURAU, April 6. The infant son. six months old, of Mr C. Waldron, of Gaisford Terrace, Waipukurau, was drowned in a bath on Sunday morning. The mother was bathing the child and left it for a few minutes lying on its back kicking and laughing while she went to the kitchen. She returned to find the child dead. At the inquest yesterday a verdict of death by accidental drowning was returned.
