ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY DOMINION'S FINE DISPLAY RECORD ATTENDANCE ANTICIPATED. Received March 29, 10.40 p.m. SYDNEY, March 29. The Royal Agricultural Society’s Easter Show opened in beautiful weather. Record entries were received from all States and New Zealand, the Dominion having a specially fine display in the cattle section. Although to-day was devoted to judging, the attendance already bids fair to create a record. THE AWARDS NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES SEVERAL PLACINGS SECURED Received March 30, 1.5 a.m. SYDNEY, March 29. Show awards include tho following:— Aberdeen Angus cow or heifer, two-yciirs-old and under three. —D. Allan’s (Wellington) Sunbeam of Ben Lomond secured second prize. Heifer, one-year-old and under two: D. Allan’s Twinkle of Ben Lomond first prize and reserve champion. Shorthorn Bull, three years and under four. —L. White’s (Canterbury) Langley Peer the Third first, and L. White’s Langley Prince second. Cow or heifer, two years and under three: J. Burgess’ (Wellington) Canning Downs South, Lady Donnington first. Fat Cattle, any breed or cross, fat ox, not exceeding five years. —Wright, Stephenson and Company (Wellington) first. Friesians.—Reserve champion cow, Bloomfield Farm Company’s (Wellington) Willowvalc Galatea Segis. Cow, four-years-old land over, in calf, dry.— Bloomfield Farm Company’s Willowvale Galatea Segis first.
