FOXTON’S HALL
BUILDING ON THE ASHES. BOROUGH COUNCIL’S DECISION. [Per Press Association.] FOXTON, March 24. A special meeting of the Borough Council night rejected an offer to purchase the Royal Theatre, and unanimously approved sketch plans for a new town hall. Alternate tenders are to be invited for brick and concrete. Proposals to include a public library, reading room, and Plunket room in the new building were rejected.
