CASE FOR MOTOR BUSES. AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL’S REMARKS. [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, Feb. 19. Regarding remarks made by the Auckland City Council respecting Mr Hammond and the Motor Conference, Mr T. S. Weston, president of the Employers’ Federation, to-day stated that the advisory board of the Federation considered it only fair when appealed to by the omnibus proprietors and allied motor trades and affiliated organisations, that a capable officer of the Federation should be permitted to put the case for them in an adequate manner.
