ADVERTISING ON BUILDINGS AUCKLAND ARCHITECTS CONCERNED. ADDRESS TO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 19. The placing of advertising signs on Government Buildings was condemned by Mr F. L. Moodie, president of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, in an address to the Chamber of Commerce. He said that the Auckland Institute was very much concerned with the defacing of public buildings b • advertisements. The president of the Chamber said that the matter would have due consideration by the Council. He felt sure the meeting was in sympathy with the Institute of Architects.
