The Canterbury Education Board today adopted the following resolution: “That in view of the altered circumstances and under the conditions of supervision as outlined by the Headmasters’ Association and the School Committees’ Association, the Board endorses and supports the application for a grant of £2OOO for the purpose of assisting in the transport of school children to the Dunedin Exhibition.” Mr. D. G. Sullivan, M.P., has been advised by the Prime Minister that the representations of Canterbury members of Parliamx-ut regarding a request for a subsidy of £2OOO for the purpose of sending primary school children of the fourth standard upwards to the Exhibition has been received and will be placed before Cabinet upon his return to Wellington,
